San Antonio native, Barbara Felix is an interdisciplinary artist whose expressive contemporary portraits are grounded in dance and movement. She is self-taught in stop motion animation, experimental video, and audio editing. Her portraits and video works have been exhibited throughout Texas, nationally and internationally, and her work is in public collections including the City of San Antonio, and University Health System, and in private collections. |
Jorge Garza is a San Antonio-based artist known for his vibrant, contemporary works that explore cultural identity and personal narrative. His art often incorporates elements of surrealism, pop culture, and traditional Mexican iconography, reflecting his roots and experience as a Mexican-American. Garza works across multiple mediums, including painting, digital art, and installations, often blending bold colors with intricate symbolism. His pieces evoke emotion and challenge perceptions, making his art both thought-provoking and visually striking. Garza has exhibited widely in local galleries and is a prominent figure in the San Antonio art scene.

Kathleen Trenchard is a San Antonio-based artist originally from New Orleans. She holds a Master's in Painting and Printmaking from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. Trenchard is renowned for her papel picado artwork, a Mexican technique involving cutting intricate designs into paper using a mallet and chisel. Her studio/home is located on Woodlawn Lake in San Antonio. She has exhibited her work widely, and also teaches design, painting, drawing, and art appreciation in the area. Her art is celebrated for its contemporary designs and applications.
