In this immersive demonstration, Margaret will guide you through her innovative techniques, including paint skins, pouring methods, and the art of creating stunning cast acrylic etchings. You'll also witness her expert use of inkjet transparency transfers and the intricate process of laser/Xerox transfers, adding new dimensions to your creative toolkit. This is a unique opportunity to watch a master at work and learn from one of the most celebrated contemporary artists in our community. While this session is demonstration-only, those interested in hands-on experience will have the opportunity to arrange a separate, in-depth class with Margaret at a later date, providing the perfect chance to further refine your skills under her expert guidance. Margaret Craig is an American artist and printmaker who invented the Tar Gel™ Pressless Etching technique along with numerous other innovations. Bring your sketchbook, takes notes, and be inspired as Margaret demonstrates her innovative techniques. This class will be in conjunction with Margaret's Artist of the Year Exhibition at the San Antonio Art League + Museum which will be open to the public from September 22nd to November 2nd.
