The San Antonio Art League and the San Antonio Potters Guild present a unique collaborative exhibition
In this unique exhibition, artists explore the interpretations of clay as a medium and a concept through 40 clay/ceramic works and 40 paintings/wall pieces.
ART LEAGUE MEMBERS SUBMISSIONS
Artworks should express the theme of clay as a concept or as a literal medium – for example, a painting of a broken clay pot, a collage of earth-colored strata, a mixed-media paper mosaic, a photograph of potters’ hands – within the confines of a 20 x 20 x 2” canvas or equivalent.
Specifications: The 40 two-dimensional wall pieces from San Antonio Art League members must be done on a 20x20x2" surface (canvas, birch panel, etc.)
The 3-D clay works from the San Antonio Potters' Guild must fit within a virtual 20x20x20” square with no dimension longer or wider.
