The Small Works Gallery is a member benefit -- a professional, low-pressure way to show and sell your work year-round. Contact us about presenting your art in the gallery!
The Small Works Gallery is a member benefit designed to showcase thoughtfully made, original artwork in an intimate, well-curated setting. Working on a smaller scale invites artists to focus on craft, concept, and refinement, offering visitors the opportunity to connect closely with each piece.
For artists, Small Works provides:
A professional, low-pressure way to present and sell work year-round
Visibility alongside a diverse community of SAAL+M artists
An opportunity to experiment, refine ideas, or offer accessible pieces—without compromising quality
For visitors, the gallery offers a rotating selection of distinctive, artisan-quality work they won’t find in retail stores. The Small Works Gallery reflects what SAAL+M values most: originality, care, and the creative voice of our members.
Here are some general guidelines:
Artwork for the SWG must be original hand-made items
The gallery takes 40% commission and the artist will receive quarterly checks.
You must be a current art league member to display work
