We will discuss types of plants that tend to work best while leaving open discovery of new plants which might be willing to lend some pigments to our pages. An enthusiastic hands-on approach will find us out collecting leaves, fronds, & flowers, which you’ll then sandwich between printmaking papers and wrap into a bundle to simmer in a pot with mordants. Ideas for mark making on your paper will allow you to further personalize your work. One wooden cradle board is provided to mount and take home your favorite print.
